Power is not
reaching the
DECserver
hardware.
1. Secure the power cable at the DECserver and at the wall
outlet and check the fuse in the power cable plug (if
applicable).
2. Check the wall outlet using another appliance or light,
or plug the DECserver power cord into another outlet. If
power is not available at the wall outlet, check the wall
outlet’s circuit breaker.
3. Check the power cord by substituting another one. If the
first power cord is defective, replace it.
The DECserver
hardware is
defective.
Notify the network manager that the DECserver must be
returned to Digital Network Products Group for repair or
replacement. Refer to the Network Access Software Problem
Solving Guide for information about returning the
DECserver.
