➤ Bitwriter®
The Bitwriter® has the ability to fine tune certain features of the
system. These features and the adjustments that may be programmed
are described in the table below. The Bitwriter T-Harness included in the
chip version 2.6 kit (998U) is required for Bitwriter programming.

Note
: When using Owner’s Recognition with the Bitwriter®, the follow-
ing are the only applicable features:
• Horn function
• Ignition locking
• Ignition unlocking
• Activation pulses for remote start
