Procedures to install the power cable to the machine main body (Continued)

Have the cable, terminals and other items required for power cable installation on hand.
・Make sure that the PE line of the power cable is at least 300 mm longer than the
L1/L2/L3 lines.

Check to be sure that the facility-side power is shut off and locked out.

Draw the power cable into the control box (rear) of the machine through the cable gland
on the top of the control box.

Run the cable
through here.

Connect the PE line (grand wire) to the PE terminal and tighten the retaining screw with
the specified torque (12.5 N•m).
・Make sure to securely tighten the retaining screw.

Remove the 2 retaining screws (M3) from the terminal block cover.

Remove the terminal block cover.
・Pulling the terminal block cover toward you removes it.
