Removal and refitting of tire pressure
monitoring control unit
1 - Protection
Place protective pads at following locations:
• Front fender;
• Front bumper;
• Driver’s seat;
• Carpet (on driver's side);
• Steering wheel;
• Parking brake lever; Shift lever
• Shift lever.
3 - Removal
• Turn off the ignition switch, and disconnect
the battery negative cable.
• Remove the trunk lid left protective plate.
(Refer to the section "Removal and Refitting
of Trunk Interior Trims" in "Interiors and
Exteriors"section.)
• Remove the fixing bolts (1) of the tire
pressure monitoring control unit with an
8mm socket wrench.
• Remove the tire pressure monitoring control
unit from the vehicle body.
