3.2.4. Rocker arm ass`y
1) Rocker arm disassembling
z Remove the snap rings in one
end of rocker arm with a pair of
pliers.
z Tear down washer, rocker arm.
z Disassemble the rocker arm
bush by means of a press.
2) Inspection and measurement
z Measure the outer diameter of
rocker arm bracket with outside
micrometer at the position that
the rocker arm is installed, and
in case that it exceeds the limit
value, replace.

z Inspect the rocker arm
surface that contacts with the
valve stem for any scratch,
step wear and correct the
minor degree of wear with an
oil stone or the fine grinding
paper and replace if they are
severe.
