8.1 Replacing the batteries
WARNING
Hazard due to strong magnetic field
The functions of pacemakers or implanted defibrillators may be impaired.
• People wearing such devices should maintain a distance of at least 50cm from the open-
ing tool.
Whilst the battery is being changed, all the data (access authorisations, configurations and
traceback) is retained in the battery-independent memory. The clock settings are lost after 45
seconds.
