3.9 Replacing the Ribbon Movement Roller
3.9.1 Replacing the Roller Magnet
If the magnet on the movement roller has been damaged it will have to be
replaced.
The procedure is as follows:
1. Remove the securing screw on
the end of the roller.
2. Remove the damaged
components.
3. Fit a new set of components to
the end of the roller and secure the
retaining screw with Loctite 222.
4. Clean off any excess fluid and
ensure the roller is free to rotate.
