4.4.2 Printhead Module Operation
When the ribbon cassette is interlocked with the printer body, the two prime
cylinders are activated and the printhead is moved to its prime position ready
print. (1)
This action is performed by the air cylinder pistons moving the actuator block
assembly on the linear slide.
The third cylinder is activated when the printer receives a valid print signal.
This moves the printhead into contact with the substrate ready to print. (2)
