3.9.3 Replacing the Ribbon Movement Sensor
If the sensor has to be replaced, the procedure should be as follows:
Switch off and disconnect the power to the machine.
2. Remove the retaining screw
from the printer base plate.
3. Remove the sensor from the
printer body.
4. When fitting a replacement
sensor, ensure that the retaining
screw is secured with Loctite 222.
1. Remove the cover from the
printer body and disconnect the
sensor connector.
