SD-L-F1
Function test - Smoke detector SD-L-F1
1. Cover the reflector slowly (covering must take more than 5 seconds).
2. The detector triggers a fire alarm after 10 seconds.
Notes:
Use the SD-L-F1 commissioning set alarm filter to test the 25 %, 35 % and 55 %
alarm thresholds.
The detector automatically compensates for dust deposits by adapting the ACG
level. Once the ACG level limit value has been reached, the detector outputs a
fault and requires cleaning.
Regularly clean the lens window and reflector with a soft, lint-free cloth.
If the detector outputs a fault after having been cleaned, the ACG level signal
strength may have exceeded the upper threshold value.
In this case, re-align the detector.
Function test - Smoke detector PD-RJ-AIO
1. Spray point smoke detector for 1 second near the point smoke detector
using a test smoke spray. Repeat this process after 10 seconds until the
point smoke detector reacts (at max. 10 times).
- LED at point smoke detector lights up red.
- Central unit and smoke vent button report fire
(red LED "Alarm smoke detector" at the RJ45 connection "SD" and the
alarm LED on the smoke vent button light up).
- The ventilation element opens.
2. Blow out the signal head to allow the test smoke to escape.
3. Repeat the smoke test for each point smoke detector in the system.
4. Reset alarm:
- Press reset button „▼“ on the smoke vent button (RT-45L-RJ / RT-45-RJ).
or
- Press the reset button on the central unit for approximately 3 seconds to
open maintenance level 1. Then press the Reset button for 1 second to
return to normal operating mode.
Note:
The PD-RJ-AIO (SD-O 371) has an extended operating time of up to 8 years
due to electronic compensation of long-term effects of dirt or ageing.
