5. Disconnect the adapter from the lung demand valve.
4.2.2.3 Test with dosage tester (workshop)
Prerequisites
The rebreather is ready for the dosage test

Dosage tester
1. Connect dosage tester, use test hose.
2. Position the dosage tester vertically with the aid of set screws and level.
3. Slowly open the valve of the mixed-gas cylinder.
4. Set the rotary switch to mixed operation (rotary switch is vertical and in the
housing).
5. Read the actual value from the upper edge of the float.
Permissible dosage for filled compressed gas cylinder (200±5 bar):
Nitrox B mixture: 5.5 to 6.2 L/min
Nitrox C mixture: 10.5 to 12.5 L/min
Nitrox D mixture: 16.5 to 18 L/min
6. Close the mixed-gas cylinder valve.
7. Disconnect the adapter from the lung demand valve.
4.2.2.4 Test with test case

The rebreather is ready for the dosage test

Test case
1. Connect the test hose in the test case to the gauge for the mixed gas used. Use
test hose.
2. Slowly open the valve of the mixed-gas cylinder.
3. Set the rotary switch to mixed operation (rotary switch is vertical and in the
housing).
4. When using a tester with colored marking, the dosage must be within the
marked range.
Permissible dosage for nitrox B mixture: 5.5 to 6.2 L/min
Permissible dosage for nitrox C mixture: 10.5 to 12.5 L/min
Permissible dosage for nitrox D mixture: 16.5 to 18 L/min
If the dosage is outside the tolerance: Do not use rebreather and submit for
repair. Observe regulations and instructions for diving with oxygen and mixed
gas!
5. Close the mixed-gas cylinder valve.
6. Disconnect the adapter from the lung demand valve.
