12 APPENDIX
12.1 COMMUNICATIONS OPTION CONNECTIONS
12.1.1 DESCRIPTION
The DSE Configuration Suite software allows the controller to communicate with a PC. The computer connects to
the module as shown below and allows easy adjustment of the operating parameters and firmware update of the
controller.
12.1.2 PC TO CONTROLLER (DIRECT) CONNECTION
To connect a 334 ATS module to a PC the following items are required: -
• DSE334 series module
Configuration Suite software (Supplied on configuration suite software CD or
available from www.deepseaplc.com).
• USB cable Type A to Type B.
NOTE:- The DC supply must be connected to the module for configuration by PC.
NOTE:- Refer to DSE Configuration Suite software Manual for further details on configuring the module
by PC.
