Charge the battery at 0.9 A for 5÷10 hours.
Install the battery on the vehicle as described under
"Refitting the battery" page 247.
Warning
Keep the battery out of the reach of children.
Jump-starting the motorcycle
If the motorcycle must be jump-started in an
emergency with an external starting device, first
loosen screws (2) using the supplied wrench to
remove the battery cover (1).
