Chapter 5 Trouble Guide
1. Error Code (Error Message)
When an error occurs, the error is displayed on the LCD display as shown below.

Check the error code or the error message and solve the problem by following the list below.
If the error persists or occurs frequently, contact your dealer.
If “Clear the error.” is written as a solution, the error can be cleared in one of the following way.
• Press and hold the key.
• Open and close the top cover.

U010 The top cover of the DBM-150 or the DBM-150T
is open.
Close the top cover.
U011 The stopper cover of the DBM-150 is open. Close the stopper cover.
U020 The stapler unit F is almost empty. Replace the stapler cartridge and clear the error.

The stapler cartridge is not attached to the
stapler unit F.
Attach the stapler cartridge to the stapler unit F.

U021 The stapler unit B is almost empty. Replace the stapler cartridge and clear the error.

Attach the stapler cartridge to the stapler unit B.

U030 When side-stapling or corner-stapling paper,
the side-stapling guide is not attached to the
machine.
Attach the side-stapling guide and clear the error.

U031 When saddle-stapling or folding paper, the
side-stapling guide is attached to the machine.
Remove the side stapling guide and clear the error.

U032 When side-stapling or corner-stapling paper,
the roller gap adjustment is not set to “7.”
Set the roller gap adjustment to “7,” and clear the error.

E010 The exterior cover of the DBM-150 is removed. Clear the error. If the error frequently occurs, contact
your dealer.
E011 The exterior cover of the DBM-150T is removed.
E870 There are lots of booklets left on the belt
stacker.
Remove the booklets from the belt stacker. If the
error does not disappear, the stacker motor may be
damaged. Contact your dealer.
E942 The top cover is not completely closed. Or the
relay board has been damaged.
Open and close the top cover. If the error frequently
occurs, contact your dealer.
E951 The emergency stop switch of the upstream
unit is pressed.
Release the emergency stop switch of the upstream
unit.
