5.8 CLEAR PAPER JAM
ā 5.8.1 Paper at coater rollers
Use button to remove the paper; if necessary, jog the paper with the
forward or backward key then open the top cover to clear the jam. When
the coater top cover is opened the power to the coating application
assembly will be cut off. To resume the coating process close the coater top
cover and then press button.
5.8.2 Paper underneath the UV lamp
The power off the UV lamp, curing conveyor and coating assembly will be
cut off. The exhaust suction motor will still be in operation to allow the
system to cool down.
Open the UV hood to remove the jam piece.
5.8.3 Unpredicted power failure
Lift up the UV hood to remove any paper underneath UV lamp.
