6. Loosen the screw (5).
7. Set the needle bar height such that the lower edge of the needle eye
and the upper edge of the hook eye are at the same level.
8. Tighten the screw (5).

9. Loosen the screw (3).
10. Shift the hook carrier in axial direction.
The distance between hook tip and groove is 0.1 mm.
11. Tighten the screw (3).

Then check the following adjustment:
• Symmetry of the hook movement ( p. 23)
