Checking, cleaning the air filter
NOTICE!
Danger of engine damage!
– Never start the engine after removing the air
filter
.
– Do not let dirt drop into the air duct.
– Do not continue using a damaged or soiled air
filter. If in doubt use a new air filter.

1.
Park the machine safely

2. Allow the engine to cool down.
3. Disassemble the cover (1) and air filter (2).
4. Clean the cover

CAUTION!
Danger of eye injuries caused by particles
flying around!
– Wear your personal protective equipment
(safety gloves, protective working
clothes, goggles).
Blow the air filter out with dry compressed air (max. 6 bar
(87 psi)) from inside to outside by moving the gun up and
down inside the element, until it is free of dust.
6. Check seals and air filter for damage.
7. Replace the air filter if it is damaged.
8. Insert the air filter and reassemble the cover.
