Why does my Dynon Avionics GPS say 'TEMPERATURE UNSTABLE'?
    • M
      Megan ChavezSep 12, 2025
If your Dynon Avionics GPS displays 'TEMPERATURE UNSTABLE', the screen will remain normal color, but the message will be displayed until the internal temperature stabilizes. This should take no more than 2 minutes. It's recommended to turn on the unit before preflight procedures to ensure it's ready for flight.

How to fix 'REMOTE COMPASS NOT DETECTED' on Dynon Avionics GPS?
    • S
      Shane ContrerasSep 12, 2025
If your Dynon Avionics GPS shows 'REMOTE COMPASS NOT DETECTED', ensure that you have an EDC-D10A installed and that the wiring to the EDC-D10A is correct. If you updated the firmware without the remote compass connected, try uploading the firmware again with the EDC-D10A connected within the first few seconds of operation.
