System Overview
SkyView SE Pilot’s User Guide - Revision I 2-7
If your aircraft’s trim motor(s) exceeds a current draw of 2 amps, then an SV-AP-TRIMAMP Trim
Motor Adapter is required to operate the Auto-Trim feature.
Be advised that the SV-AP-PANEL's buttons are not compatible with SkyView SE.
However, an SV-AP-PANEL may be installed, possibly behind the panel "in the
blind" to provide trim control and Autopilot Auto-Trim features.
Trim Motor Adapter SV-AP-TRIMAMP
The SV-AP-TRIMAMP allows the SkyView Autopilot system to interface with trim motors
drawing up to a maximum of 5 amps.
To enhance safety, the SV-AP-TRIMAMP also monitors the elevator trim system for faults and
provides crew alerts for conditions such as a runaway trim system, an inoperative trim system,
or a system test failure during Skyview bootup. The SV-AP-TRIMAMP can provided these safety
enhancements to any electric trim system that operates at 5 amps or less.
SV-BUTTON-LEVEL
The SV-BUTTON-LEVEL is an optional panel-mounted button for engaging AP Level Mode.
