Speech Dialler
This option allows you to send a test speech call to any telephone number (not just the
ones programmed to receive speech messages in the event of an alarm).
The display shows a message prompting you to key in a telephone number. Enter the
telephone number of the phone that you wish to receive the test message, then press .
When you press ,the control unit starts the test call and displays “Dialling...”.
When the person at the receiving end answers the call, the display shows “Connected...”.
The control unit will play the home message, followed by each of the four alarm messages,
and then repeat all five messages three more times. While the control unit is playing the
messages, “Playing messages...” is displayed.
The person receiving the messages call acknowledge (and end) the call by pressing “5” or
“9” on their phone keypad.
If no-one acknowledges a test call, “No acknowledgement” is displayed.
SMS
You can use the option to send a test call to any telephone number (not just the ones you
have set up to receive SMS alarm/event reports).
Email
You can use the option to send a test email to any email address (not just the ones you
have set up to receive email alarm/event reports).
Panel PSU
This option allows you to check the external DC input voltage, the backup battery voltage
and the auxiliary output voltage.
