11.4.1 Set / Change Privacy PIN
If no PIN exists, on entering the Set PIN menu item, the screen will display the prompt
Using the left and right buttons, scroll through the digits 0-9 and press OK to select the digit. The
digits will be masked with an asterisk * symbol when selected. For example:
After entering and selecting the fourth digit, the screen will display:
Press OK to confirm the PIN entered. The screen will display:
After two seconds, the display returns to the parent menu.
If a PIN already exists, on entering the Set PIN menu item, the screen will display the prompt:

If the PIN entered is correct, follow the procedure above for setting a PIN if no PIN exists
(described above).
If the PIN entered is incorrect the following message will be shown:

Two more opportunities will be offered to enter the correct PIN. If after the third attempt the PIN
entered the PIN is incorrect the meter will lock out of the user interface for one hour.
