9.2 Maintenance intervals
Standard maintenance acvies are listed below. These acvies are given for standard
operang condions and may dier depending on the harshness of your applicaon.
Therefore the maintenance plan might need to be adapted to your process condions. If in
doubt, please contact Edwards for any further advice.

9.3 Checking the oil
WARNING: RISK OF BURNS
Before removing the oil-drain or oil-ll plug always switch o the pump rst and vent to
atmospheric pressure. When the pump has become warm during operaon the casing
and the oil temperature may exceed 80 °C. Leave the pump to cool down. Always wear
protecve gloves also to protect yourself against aggressive residues in the oil
The oil-level should be between the boom and top of the glass for a non-operang pump.
When the pump is operang the oil-level is slightly lower than in a stac condion.
If the oil shows any signicant change in normal colour consider an oil change and contact
Edwards.

(on page 16)
. Only use Edwards oil.
