4.2 Installaon guidelines

Use the list as a guide for the installaon of the vacuum pump. The list is not
exhausve. Every vacuum pump installaon is unique, and care must be used in
the placement of each pump. If you are not sure of any installaon variable,
contact us.

For bare-sha nES pumps supplied without a motor, the installaon of a three-
phase electric motor is mandatory before use. Follow the installaon procedure
provided with the pump. Bare-sha pumps are delivered either with an IEC or a
NEMA motor coupling element. Use a motor with the power and frame size that
matches the following specicaon:
