4.2 Installaon guidelines

Use the list as a guide for the installaon of the vacuum pump. The list is not
exhausve. Every vacuum pump installaon is unique, and care must be used in
the placement of each pump. If you are not sure of any installaon variable,
contact us.

For bare-sha nES pumps supplied without a motor, the installaon of a three-
phase electric motor is mandatory before use. Follow the installaon procedure
provided with the pump. Bare-sha pumps are delivered either with an IEC or a
NEMA motor coupling element. Use a motor with the power and frame size that
matches the following specicaon:
