6. Maintenance
6.1 Prevenve maintenance schedule
WARNING: SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Risk of injury or damage to equipment. The operator must apply all relevant safety
precauons. Refer to Safety precauons during maintenance or repair on page 10.
Before the maintenance, repair or adjustments, do the steps as follow:

Stop the vacuum pump.
▪
Set the voltage supply to o.
▪
Isolate the machine from all sources of under and overpressure.
▪
Make sure that the pump system is at atmospheric pressure.
Refer to Fault nding on page 43 for more informaon.
Warranty - Product Liability
Use only authorised parts. Any damage or malfuncon caused by the use of
unauthorised parts is not covered by Warranty or Product Liability.
Service kits
For overhauling or carrying out prevenve maintenance, service kits are available.

Service contracts
We oer several types of service contracts, relieving you of all prevenve maintenance
work. Contact our customer centre.
General
Replace the o-rings and washers that are removed during servicing.
Intervals
Our local customer centre may overrule the maintenance schedule, especially the
service intervals, depending on the environmental and working condions of the
vacuum pump.
The longer interval checks must also include the shorter interval checks.
