2.2 Pump controller
The pump controller contains the drive electronics to controls the pump operaon. The
pump controller controls the supply of electric current to the motor as per the operang
condions.
The interface control panel is installed on the pump controller. The pump can be
operated:
▪ manually, with the buons on the user interface control panel. Refer to Figure:
Interface control panel.
▪ remotely, with the serial communicaons or digital and analogue process control
(parallel), through the 15-way D-type interface connector. Refer to Connecon for
remote control and monitoring on page 24.

2.3.1 Auxiliar
y connector socket
An auxiliary control connecon on the rear panel controls an oponal inlet valve. This
inlet valve can be operated in parallel with the normal pump output signal. Refer to
Figure: nXRi pumps, (7). The valve is usually closed and:
