WARNING: INSTALLATION SAFETY

you connect the pump to the power supply. This will make sure that the pump is not
operated and injure people during installaon.

e to equipment. Do not step or stand on the pump, it is not designed to
withstand large stac loads.
WARNING: HEAVY OBJECT

ard with strain injury. Push or pull the pump system only for short
distance and over at surfaces. Li the system if the oor is uneven or has obstacles.
WARNING: EXHAUST BLOCKAGE
Risk of injur
y or damage to equipment. A peak pressure of 3 bar(g) can be generated
in the pump if the exhaust or pipework aached to the exhaust are blocked.
CAUTION: INSTALLATION SAFETY
Risk of injury or damage to the environment. Follow all local legislaon when the
pump is installed or removed to reduce the impact of the pump on the environment.
CAUTION: CONDENSATE DRAINAGE
Risk of damag
e to equipment. Use a catchpot to prevent the drainage of condensate
back into the system. Condensate that drains back into the system could damage the
pump.
Obey the instrucons that follow when you install the pump:
Make sure that there is no blockage to access the pump electrical supply cable or
the other controls.
Make sure that there is a minimum air gap of 100 mm on all sides of the pump to
allow eecve air circulaon.
Make sure that the system is on a rm and levelled surface that can support the
mass of the pump.
Make sure that the system is installed away from c
ombusble materials.
Level the pump to a maximum of 5 degrees (measured at the pump inlet).
You must do a risk assessment of the locaon and make sure that you can move
the pump safely and as per the local and naonal manual handling guidelines.
To move the pump:
1. Use suitable liing equipment aached to liing eyebolts (Figure: nXRi pumps,
(14)) to move the dry pump system close to its nal operang posion. Refer to
Table: Mechanical data for pump mass.
