Chapter 4 Using Smart Function
4-1. Setting “Smart Detection”
This function allows you to select the area on the screen to which the “Smart Resolution” or “Smart
Insight 2” setting is applied (only animated images or whole screen).
Setting Function
Video Detects the animated images on the screen, and applies the setting only to the detected
area.
Full Screen Applies the setting to the whole screen.
Procedure
1. Press
on the remote control.
The “Smart Functions” menu appears.
2. Select “Smart Detection”, and press .
The “Smart Detection” menu appears.
3. Select “Video” or “Full Screen” with or .
4. Press
to exit.
Note
• Under the following conditions, the setting for “Smart Detection” is xed to “Full Screen”.
- At interlace signal input
- “Cinema” is selected from the color mode.
• “Full Screen” should be set to display animated images using the whole screen.
