Note :
The balance control knob is used to
balance the playback l eve ls of both
track s (1 a nd 2) by ad justi ng as follows :
The balance control is normally set in
th e middle position. If track 1 is high er
than track 2, turn the knob clockwise
until both tracks are balanced.
1. Wh e ther pl ay ing both tracks or e ith er track 1 or 2, begin with the
balance contro l in the mid d le. (On ly one track will pl ay if th e ba lance
co
ntrol is turn ed all th e way in one dir ect ion.)
2. Balance co nt rol ca nnot be used to set recording leve l.
