o To insure smooth automatic thread, trim
the end of the fi lm leader with the film
trimmer. Locate a film perforation over the
fixed pin and trim off the end of the film.
Note: When the tip of the leader is bent or
snapped, trim off as illustrated. Be
sure to prepare a straight leader with-
out any bend or snap as illustrated.
8 Depress the green auto thread lever unti l it
locks.
8 Advance the motor switch to position ~ F.
The motor will start.
