Identify the unrestricted control column.
If the failure occurs above 175 KIAS, the current airspeed is the
maximum speed for the remainder of the flight.
If the failure occurs below 175 KIAS, the maximum speed for the
remainder of the flight is 175 KIAS.
NOTE: Expect lower pitch rates and authority.
Relevant Inoperative Items:
− AOA Limit function.
Avoid side
sliping the airplane.
NOTE: The stick shaker remains operative.
For landing configuration set slat/flap to 5 and set V
REF FULL
+ 20 KIAS.
CAUTION:
• DO NOT ENGAGE THE AUTOPILOT.
• MULTIPLY THE FULL FLAPS UNFACTORED LANDING
DISTANCE BY 1.42.
If a go around is required, maintain V
REF FULL
+ 20 KIAS (limited to
175 KIAS) until the acceleration altitude is reached.
