Fiber optic (optional)
A Fiber optic connection supports Modbus TCP, OPC, AMS
Wireless Configurator, and HART TCP
protocols. Using this connection type, the Gateway is wired to a fiber optic switch (see
Figure 5-2).
Note
A fiber optic connection requires a third party copper Ethernet to fiber optic Ethernet converter.
