Quick Touch Setup
a CAUTION
Selecting a pre-defined setup may affect the operating mode and input/
output functions assignments. These changes may cause unwanted
motion which may result in personal injury or equipment damage.
Quick Touch Setup Procedure
You can use the Quick touch Setup Procedure to change the pre-defined setup,
motor model, and/or drive address for your EN Drive.
Please note the following:
• The Drive Enable input must be off (drive disabled) for you to enter the
Quick Touch Setup Procedure.
• Remember to complete the End/Save Sequence in order for your new
selections to be saved.
• If you abort the setup before completing the End/Save Sequence, the
drive will use the existing setup.
• You can use this procedure to change one, two or all three quick touch
setup parameters (pre-defined setup, motor model and drive address).
1. To select a Pre-defined Setup:
A. Press and hold the Reset/Setup Button.
a. The drive will display each number of the two digit drive
address for two seconds (tens first, ones second). Continue to
hold the Reset/Setup Button.
b. The drive will display a triple bar character for four seconds.
Continue to hold the Reset/Setup Button.
c. The drive will display each Pre-defined Setup, numbered from
zero through seven, one at a time beginning with zero (the
setups are found in Table 7).
d. Each setup number will be displayed for two seconds until all
have been displayed.
e. Continue to hold the Reset/Setup Button to make no setup
selection and go to motor selection.
