Verification of sensor circuits
A series of internal tests are run through for checking the sensor connections and the closed-control
loops of excitation current and frequency with connectors plugged in for the excitation current and
amplifier.
The test series are grouped into four areas on the Fieldcheck display for outputting the result:
• Excitation circuit
• Frequency parameters
• Temperature measuring points
• Sensor coils

Note!
• One of the following options must be selected in the VERIFICATION TRANSMITTER function to
carry out the test series:
– TRANSMITTER + SENSOR
–SENSOR
• If a test group is shown as inverted on the display, the verification for the group has failed.
Analyzing the results
During verification, the current verification test section is displayed in the 'HOME position'. The
results can be shown on the display once verification is complete. They can be filed in Fieldcheck
under a storage location number of your choice (up to max. 20) together with the measuring device
serial no. and the tag name. Via a connection with the FieldCare software, a report of the results
can later be printed out and the data can be archived.
