Function group LIMIT VALUES
You can specify the limit values for measured variables in this function group. If the deviation of a
verification step (see OPERATION, P. 38) lies within the configured limit values the result is
PASSED; if it lies outside of this range the result is FAILED. For quick and unambiguous
identification, the FAILED results are shown in white with a black background on the display.
Function description
FUNCTION VERIFICATION LIMIT VALUES
BASIC FLOW LIM. Use this function to specify the basis for calculating the permitted deviation of the
individual measuring points.
A higher limit is assigned to low flow velocities while higher flow velocities are closer to
the lower limit (similar to the error curve of the measuring device).
User input:
0.30 to 10.00 % (for Promass 80, 83)
0.60 to 10.00 % (for Promass 40)
Factory setting:
0.50 % (for Promass 80, 83)
0.60 % (for Promass 40)
CALCULATED FLOW
LIMITS
Use this function to read the value calculated by Fieldcheck during verification to
establish whether the result is PASSED or FAILED. A separate value is given for each of
measuring points MP1, MP2, MP3 and MP4.

0.50 to 10.00 %
Factory setting:
0.5 %

1.00 to 10.00 (for the units °C and K)
2.00 to 10.00 (for the units °F and R)
