Current Range
(Output)
Use this function to define the current range. You can configure the current
output for either standard or symmetry mode.
Options:
0.8-4-20 mA – 4-20 mA – 20-4-20 mA
STANDARD:
0.8-4-20 mA
4-20 mA
The current output signal is proportional to the measured variable.
SYMMETRY:
20-4-20 mA
In the symmetry mode, the current output signal is independent of the direc-
tion of flow (absolute amount of the measured variable). The 20 mA value
(e.g. backflow) corresponds to the mirrored 20 mA value
(e.g. flow).
Caution!
If the measuring range is exceeded or undershot, the current output
responds in accordance with the parameter setting in the function “FAIL-
SAFE MODE” (see Page 87).
