Software setup problems
Using the film holder
frame.
The dark area around the film, such as
the frame of the film holder, is
perceived as white, which alters the
exposure of the scanning area and
causes scans to appear darker. See the
correct color by clicking and dragging
the mouse over an area, and then
clicking the zoom preview button.
You cannot install EPSON TWAIN.
Cause What to do
System configuration does
not meet the requirements.
Check your computer and operating
system meets the system
requirements on pages 3-2 to 4.
Make sure your computer has enough
memory to run the application.
The scanner does not appear in the Port list of the EPSON
TWAIN 4 dialog box in the Control Panel when you connect
the SCSI model to your PC running Windows other than
Windows 98.
Cause What to do
SCSI connection is not made
properly.
Turn off the computer and scanner
and check the connection between
your hardware.
SCSI ID number is
unsuitable.
Change the SCSI ID number to one
that is not being used by any other
SCSI device.
