For Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0 users
Follow the steps below to install the scanner software in your
Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0 system.
Note:
If you plan to upgrade from Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0 to a newer
Windows operating system, do not install the scanner software until you
have finished upgrading your system.
1. Connect your scanner to your computer and turn on the
scanner and then your computer.
Note:
It is important to follow this power on sequence if you are using a
SCSI interface. Otherwise the Plug and Play feature will not work.
If you are using Windows NT 4.0, insert the scanner software
CD in the CD-ROM drive, then proceed to step 3.
If you are using Windows 95, one of the following dialog
boxes will appear.
