5. Open the printer cover, then secure the print head with tape, as shown below.
6. Close the front cover, then close the paper support.
7. Set the transportation lock to the transport position.
8. Pack the printer in its original box or one of a similar size using protective material to keep it
from moving inside the box.
Keep the printer level during transportation.
After you move it, set the transportation lock to the printing position. If print quality has
declined when you print again in a new location, clean and align the print head.
Note:
Be sure to remove the tape inside the printer and any protective materials before you print.
