Replacing the Borderless Maintenance Boxes
The borderless maintenance boxes absorb ink during borderless printing. When you see a message on
the LCD screen, replace the borderless maintenance box indicated.
Note: Do not replace borderless maintenance boxes while printing, otherwise ink may leak.
1. Check the LCD screen to determine which maintenance box needs to be replaced.
Note: You can view the replacement procedure on the LCD screen. Press the > Maintenance >
Replace Maintenance Box > Borderless Maintenance Box > How To....
2. Remove the new borderless maintenance box from the package.
Caution: Do not touch the chip on the borderless maintenance box or you may prevent normal
operation and printing.
