No power test
Fault tracing Description Solution / Remedies
Measurement 1 Start up trip
Step 1
Using a multimeter set to diode test setting, test the
primary rectifier bridge +, - terminal.
The voltage drop is 0.6-0.8 V.
Test the primary rectifier bridge ~ to +, the voltage drop
is between 0.3-0.4 V.
If it is significantly lower than the above value, the
primary rectifier bridge is defect.
Step 2:
Using a multimeter set to diode test setting, measure
the voltage at GE, CE on the IGBT.
If the voltage is 0 V, the IGBT is defect. Replace the
complete inverter PCB.
Restoring the power source after pre power up checks
NOTE!
After having completed all pre-power up checks, restore the power source carefully to
its original position.
