Appendix C--Installation of a Centurion WS to an Stratum
Concentrator
1. Unpack the Centurion as instructed in Chapter 2 of this manual.
2. Install all the lines and communication cables to the Centurion as Instructed in Chapter 2.
3. Set up the water reservoir as instructed in Chapter 2.
4. Connect the Purge flow line from the stratum to the Green peek tubing using a 1/16”
union. Connect the Purge return line to the top of the sparge tube fitting. See picture
below.
5. Water Line connections to Stratum:
a. Use the arm glassware for the Stratum and Velocity and leave the Stratum drain in
the three way valve.
b. Connect the Centurion water transfer line to the side arm of the sparge tube. Cut
drain line tubing in the Sparge tube so that it extends 1-2 inches into the tube.
c. Note: If sparge vessel will not drain completely during the bake rinse, a non-
fritted sparge vessel may be required.
