3.3 Power Off
1. From the Main screen <click> Exit, this will close the Centurion application.
2. <click> Start from the taskbar.
3. Select Shut Down.
4. After Windows XPe™ has shut down it will prompt the user: It is now safe to turn
off your computer.
5. Press OFF at the power switch located on the right side of the rear panel.
NOTE: Using other means to power off the Centurion may result in damage to
the operating system.
3.4 Main Screen
The Centurion Main screen, shown previously in Figure 3g, displays a series of icons
which allow the user to navigate through the application in order to build methods, run
diagnostics, view run logs and monitor the status of the autosampler. Upon opening a
screen, all icons will be displayed along the left side to allow the user to simply click on
an icon to load another screen.
3.5 Diagnostics Screen
Refer to Maintenance and Troubleshooting for the Diagnostics Screen functions in
Chapter 4.
3.6 Home/Log On
This icon serves a dual purpose. On the Main screen it serves as the user Log On icon
and the Home All Axes popup. To return to the Main screen from any other accessed
screen, <click> the Home icon and the Main screen will be displayed.
3.7 Exit
The Exit icon is only displayed on the Main screen. The user cannot exit the application
without first returning to the Main screen with the Home icon. To exit the Centurion
application, <click> the Exit icon. This will drop the application and return to the
Windows XPe
™ desktop.
