Correct Entire Sample Table (Dual Mode): Select Correct Entire Sample
Table. In dual concentrator mode if the Centurion does not receive a purge ready
signal from one of the concentrators, the autosampler will adjust the sequence to
run the remaining sequences for both concentrators on the active concentrator.
NOTE: All corrected samples will be analyzed using the active
concentrator’s method.
Disable Soil Vial Check: Select Disable Soil Vial Check and the Centurion will
not check for the presence of a soil vial in the soil cup before and after delivery of
a new soil sample vial.
NOTE: Disabling soil vial check may result in potential damage to the
autosampler and/or sequence failure.
Disable Syringe Position Check: Select Disable Syringe Position Check and
the Centurion will not check the position of the syringe in the syringe driver after
the sample is dispensed.
Concentrator Recycle Selection: Select Concentrator #1 and/or Concentrator
#2. When selected, the sample sequence table will be repeated after the
conclusion of the last sample in the sequence and continue for as many cycles as
entered. In this mode one re-recycle equals the original sequence run.
GC Selection: Select Dual GC if two GCs are inline.
Printing a Sequence: <click> Printer and the sequence will print.
NOTE: To print, a printer must be interfaced with the Centurion.
Saving a Sequence: <click> Save and the sequence will be saved.
Open a Saved Sequence:
<click> Open and all previously saved
sequences are available to be loaded.
3.10 Method Screen
The Method screen contains the settings and conditions necessary to create a water or soil
method. <click> the Method screen icon, the Method screen will be displayed as shown
in Figure 3u (Loop General Setup Screen) and 3v (Syringe General Setup Screen).
The Method screen will consist of three tabs: General Setup, Internal Standards and
Soil Sample (if the Centurion is a WS). NOTE: For a Centurion WS with a syringe
option, the user has the option to run Sample Prep mode Methanol Extract mode.
