VENTILATION SYSTEM
10.1 Cabin Ventilation
Cabin Door
Ventilation to the cabin is provided by opening
the cabin door and windows. The door is held
in the open position by an automatic magnetic
latch. Make sure the door is fully latched in the
closed position before operating the boat above
idle speed.
Port Windows
Opening port windows are located on each side of
the cabin. The port windows are equipped with a
screen and secured in the closed position by three
twist action locks. The locks should be adjusted
so they are tight enough to seal the window in the
closed position, but not so tight that they break
the plastic.
Always make sure the windows are closed and
secured with the cam levers whenever the boat
is underway. Sea spray could enter the cabin
through an open window and damage equipment
or items stowed there.
