Specific commands-Quick Reference Command Tree
INPut:OFFSet
Description This command stores a reference value for the current
wavelength and sets the FVA-3100 to Reference mode. In
Reference mode, the displayed attenuation is relative to this
reference value. A different reference value must be stored for
every wavelength. The reference values remain in memory
until they are overwritten.
Syntax INP:OFFS<wsp><value>[<wsp>DB]
Parameters The <value> parameter must be a valid attenuation value
followed by the (optional) units (dB).
Example INP:OFFS 99.99 DB
Note This command cannot be issued while a program is running.
INPut:OFFSet:DISPlay
Description This command sets the reference value (for the current
wavelength) to the current absolute attenuation setting and sets
the FVA-3100 to Reference mode. In Reference mode, the
displayed attenuation is relative to the reference. A different
reference value must be stored for every wavelength. The
reference values remain in memory until they are overwritten.
Syntax INP:OFFS:DISP
Parameters N/A
Example INP:OFFS:DISP
Note This command cannot be issued while a program is running.
