Check that the blades are disengaged and the blade switch is depressed. For electric start models, confirm the OPC levers are depressed. Also, check the fuel level and ensure the fuel valve is open. Verify the spark plug wire(s) are properly connected. Inspect for loose or faulty wiring connections, disconnecting connectors carefully. Finally, check for and clean any corrosion at wiring connections using electrical contact cleaner and dielectric grease.
