1.Stopengineandwaitforallmovingpartstostop.
Engageparkingbrake.Removeignitionkeyor
sparkplugwire(s).
2.WithPTOdisengagedandthebellcranktouching
therearoftheslotintheenginedeck,adjustthe
PTOsafetyswitch(ifneeded)untilthebellcrank
armis5/16inch(7.9mm)fromtheswitchbody.
3.BesurethebellcrankDoesNottouchtheswitch
bodyordamagetotheswitchcouldoccur.
4.RetightenPTOswitchmountinghardware.

CAUTION
Excessivedebrisaroundenginecoolingair
intakeandexhaustsystemareacancauseengine,
exhaustarea,andhydraulicsystemtooverheat
whichcancreatearehazard.
Cleanalldebrisfromengineandexhaustsystem
area.
1.Stopengine,waitforallmovingpartstostop,and
removekey.Engageparkingbrake.
2.Cleanalldebrisfromrotatingengineairintake
screen,aroundengineshrouding,andexhaust
systemarea.
3.Wipeupanyexcessivegreaseoroilaroundthe
engineandexhaustsystemarea
RemoveEngineShroudsand
CleanCoolingFins
ServiceInterval:Every100hours
1.Stopengine,waitforallmovingpartstostop,and
removekey.Engageparkingbrake.
2.Removecoolingshroudsfromengineandclean
coolingns.Alsocleandust,dirt,andoilfrom
externalsurfacesofenginewhichcancause
impropercooling.
3.Makesurecoolingshroudsareproperlyreinstalled.
Operatingtheenginewithoutcoolingshroudswill
causeenginedamageduetooverheating.
