Open / close auto-memorisation mode (see Start-Up)
On the electronic board press the RESET button for 2 seconds.
Within the 5 seconds following the system restarts, indicated by LD1 green led flashing, press the P1/ SET
button until the motors start.
AUTO-LEAVES mode is activated when the LD1 green led is lit steadily.
1) The unit pre-opens the gate for four seconds at the force set using the trimmer:
a) If the leaves close rather than open, press the RESET button and reverse the wires on the motors
(red wire and black wire).
b) Repeat the auto-memorisation procedure from the start.
2) The unit closes the second leaf completely then closes the first leaf completely.
a) If the leafs do not close in the desired order, press the RESET button and reverse the motors (MOT
1 & MOT 2 on the board).
b) Repeat the auto-leaves procedure from the start.
3) The unit opens both leaves completely to memorize how long the operation takes and when exactly it
should start slowing down (90% into the operation). Opening ends when the stop is reached by the obstacle
check (amperometric measurement).
4) After a 3-second pause, the system re-closes totally the two leaves (one after the other) and quits automati-
cally the auto-memorisation mode (the green LED switches off).
During quick start, it is imperative to position the trimmer VR3 (OBS) at the minimum so that
slowing downs are taken into account, and if necessary help manually the leaves, or increase
VR5 (OVL).
Modification of the parameters
After the first test operations, it is possible to act on the trimmers present on the board to modify the
following parameters:
- motor force (VR 1 trimmer) (FOR): It is the motor force which above all affects the starting in order to
have sufficient power to open the gate, and then acts on the speed of the leaves. Therefore, if the leaves tend
to rebound on the limit switch ground stops, this parameter should be reduced.
For safety reasons, you should be able to stop the leaves by hand (15 kg driving force at the end of
the leaf).
- pause time (VR 2 trimmer) (PAU): time for the automatic closure from 3 to 90s or manual mode if set to
the maximum.
- reaction time to the obstacle (VR 3 trimmer) (OBS from 0 to 3s): It allows the gate not to stop inoppor-
tunely in case of wind.
- shifting of the two motors at the closure (VR 4 timmer) (DEL)
- obstacle detection (VR 5 trimmer) (OVL): it is the amperometric detection threshold on the motors. It
must be set sufficiently high so that the motors do not stop when opening or closing but sufficiently low to
safely stop in case of obstacle (you should be able to stop the gate by hand ; 15 kg driving force at the end of
the leaf).
