5.4 Advanced Settings Tab
Use the Advanced Settings tab for adjusting the internal printer settings. Adjustment is typically
required in connection with troubleshooting.
Customize the settings for each printer and save the settings within the printer memory.
CAUTION: In general, do not adjust these settings. However, under rare circumstances, adjustment is
necessary. Ensure you have advanced knowledge prior to making these adjustments.
Setting: This column displays the type of setting
Default: This column displays the default setting value
Current: This column displays the current setting value
Apply: This option applies the changed values. Change the current value by clicking the field to activate
the control, enter the new value, and click Apply or OK to apply the change. The change to the firmware
value is confirmed by one beep from the printer.
Restore Defaults: This option restores all factory default values. To restore the factory default values,
click Restore Defaults and click Yes on the Settings confirmation window.
