Pressurised lines
Even if the compressed air feed is shut off the pneumatic ports of the positioner may still be under
pressure.
• Exhaust the pneumatic ports (working ports) before disconnecting the hose assemblies.
12.1 Dismantling CMSX-...
1. Switch off compressed air.
2. Activate in the manual operation base menu: "ManVent".
3. Move actuator until the working ports are completely exhausted.
4. Switch off power supply.
5. Unscrew housing screws (è Fig.1,3 or è Fig.2,3) and remove the housing cover.
6. Loosen electrical and pneumatic connections.
7. Unscrew 4 retaining screws (è Fig.7,3 or è Fig.9,4) and remove the positioner with the
mounting adapter.
